This Refund & Return Policy applies to all purchases made through the RakshYaan website at rakshyaan.com and the RakshYaan mobile application, operated by Octavesecure Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our").
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
1. Eligibility for returns
You may request a return if:
- The product was damaged during shipping or arrived in a defective condition;
- You received the wrong product or an incorrect quantity;
- The product is materially different from the description on the website or app.
Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and with all tags and accessories intact.
2. Non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- QR tags that have been activated, registered, or applied to a vehicle or asset;
- Digital products, subscription plans, or service fees once activated or consumed;
- Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear;
- Promotional, free, or bundled items unless received damaged.
3. How to request a return
To initiate a return:
- Email us at support@rakshyaan.com with your order number, the reason for return, and photos of the product showing the issue.
- Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days with instructions.
- Once approved, ship the product back to the address we provide. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

4. Inspection and approval
Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it within 3 business days. If the return is approved, we will notify you and initiate the refund. If the return is rejected (for example, the item shows signs of use), we will notify you and ship the item back at our cost.
5. Refund process
- Online payments (Razorpay / UPI / card / net banking): Refund will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.
- Cash on delivery (COD) orders: Refund will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS). You will be asked to provide your bank account details. Transfer is completed within 5–7 business days of approval.
Shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product, etc.), in which case full shipping charges will also be refunded.
6. Replacements
If you received a damaged or defective product, you may opt for a free replacement instead of a refund (subject to stock availability). Replacements are shipped within 3–5 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
7. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and must follow the return process described above. To cancel, contact us immediately at support@rakshyaan.com.
Cancelled orders paid via online methods will be refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
8. Late or missing refunds
If you haven't received a refund after the stated timeline:
- Check your bank account or card statement again;
- Contact your bank or payment provider, as processing times may vary on their end;
- If you've done the above and still have not received your refund, email us at support@rakshyaan.com.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund & Return Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
